You are invited to an exhibit by members of Art Group 21 (which I am a member of) and clay works by Lisa Kurtz at the Tennessee Valley Universalist Church. The church's gallery is open 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday. Hope to see you at the opening reception! I will have two paintings in the show. They are Acrylic paintings on Yupo of puffer fish and the title is "Friends or Foes?"
This Event raises funds for "Kids on the Go" a program for Young Variety of Eastern Tennessee, a children's charity. Money raised at this auction will go towards providing assistance to children with mobility concerns, ie) special wheelchairs, etc. I will have a small print in the auction (below). The Arts & Culture Alliance is pleased to present a new exhibition entitled “A Visual Experience” by Art Group 21, featuring original watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencil, pastel, mixed media, collage, and more by 21 local artists. The exhibition will be displayed in the main gallery of the Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville from August 1-30, 2014.
In celebration of downtown Knoxville’s 10th anniversary of the First Friday Art Walks, the Art Market Gallery will present two shows for October in the front part of the gallery, the regular monthly featured artists’ exhibit, and a display of works by five recently juried-in members. An opening reception for both shows will be held from 5:30-9 p.m. Oct. 4, with live music by The Tennessee Valley Accidentals, and complimentary refreshments. More info!
